REKONECT TEKNOLOJI COZUMLERI (“Rekonect,” “we,” “us,” “our”) values and respects your privacy.
This privacy policy (the “Policy”) outlines our privacy practices for Rekonect services, including the mobile applications we power that you’ve downloaded, along with their associated services (“Rekonect Solution” or the “App”). These services are created, customized, and branded by the respective business, vendor, or organization (the “Business”) whose customer loyalty program, engagement initiative, or other Rekonect Solution service you are enrolled in.
Rekonect acts as a data processor for the Business, which serves as the data controller. Any references to data processing activities (e.g., collecting, storing, or sharing) performed by Rekonect are carried out on behalf of and for the benefit of the Business.
This Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared, as well as your rights and choices regarding that information.
By using the App, you consent to: (a) the use of electronic methods to agree to this Policy and receive related notices; and (b) the use of electronic records to store information related to this Policy and your use of the App.

2.1. To join the Business’s loyalty program, customer engagement initiative, or other Rekonect Solution service as a registered member (“Registered Member”), you’ll need to complete a registration form (“Registration Form”) or provide equivalent personal details. This form, customized by the Business, may request information like your name, phone number, email, and address. Certain fields may be marked as mandatory (“Mandatory Fields”) by the Business for enrollment.
2.2. You’re free to withhold personal information. If you choose not to complete all Mandatory Fields, you won’t become a Registered Member but can still access basic features of the App (“Basic Functionalities”), such as store hours or promotions, as determined by the Business.
2.3. If you opt in to connect your social network account(s), we’ll collect basic details (e.g., name, photo, email, and user ID—but not passwords) to facilitate your registration. Check your social network’s privacy settings to manage what’s shared. This data helps us enable your use of the Rekonect Solution.
2.4. To enjoy benefits like the Business’s loyalty program, you’ll need to identify yourself at its premises or via Third-Party Services. We use your Registration Form data to verify your identity, attribute your purchases (online or offline), and enable Third-Party Services.
2.5. The Business may customize the Registration Form to request additional details, which we process on its behalf and under its responsibility.
2.6. You may provide information in multiple stages or submissions. Declining to share further details or accept additional terms won’t affect our right to retain and use previously submitted data.
This section applies to all App users, including those using only Basic Functionalities without sharing personal information.
3.1. We collect device-related data from all users, such as mobile identifiers (e.g., Android UDID, iOS UUID, Advertising IDs like IDFA or AAID), IP address, geo-location (if enabled), device type, and OS version. We also track your App interactions, including features used, content viewed, clicked links, and notifications received.
3.2. The Business selects and customizes some App features, influencing the data we process based on its choices.
4.1. For Registered Members, we gather additional data, including: (i) receipt of messages (e.g., SMS or emails) sent via the App or Rekonect Solution; (ii) use of exclusive features (e.g., points, coupons, cashback—“Members Features”); and (iii) purchase details (e.g., date, location, amount, items).
4.2. The Business determines which Members Features or functionalities are available, affecting the data processed.
5.1. We process your location data (if shared) to offer location-based services, like tailored promotions (“Location-Based Services”).
5.2. Your location may be accessed via: (i) your mobile device (with permission); or (ii) other sources, such as purchases at Business premises, Facebook check-ins, or Beacons at Business locations.
5.3. Disabling geo-location on your device may limit some features, though we may still infer your location from other sources.
5.4. Beacons use Bluetooth signals to detect your proximity to Business premises. When your device detects a Beacon, the App informs our servers, allowing us to approximate your location.
6.1. The Business and its POS systems share your purchase details (e.g., date, location, amount, items) with us. If you identify yourself at the premises, we link this data to you.
6.2. The Business may share pre-existing data about you (“Shared Information”). We’re not responsible for its collection or use but will process it under this Policy.
6.3. Third-Party Services (e.g., ordering, payment platforms) integrated with the Rekonect Solution share your interaction data (e.g., name, email, purchase details). Review their privacy policies before use, as we’re not liable for their practices.
7.1. Rekonect doesn’t require or intentionally collect sensitive information.
7.2. If you’re prompted to provide sensitive data or suspect it’s being collected, contact us immediately at support@rekonect.works. Note that “sensitive information” definitions vary by jurisdiction.
8. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age, e.g., 16 in most EU countries). If you’re underage, you may not use the App, register, or access Rekonect Solution features.
9.1. The Business may employ an operating partner (“Operating Partner”) to manage the Rekonect Solution on its behalf, with the same data rights as the Business, used solely for its benefit.
9.2. If an Operating Partner is involved, we share collected data with them to support the Rekonect Solution’s operation and administration.
We use your data for:

10.2. Delivering Rekonect Solution features, including push notifications, SMS, or emails from us, the Business, or other Rekonect-powered businesses;
10.3. Offering personalized promotions, ads, or services;
10.4. Providing Location-Based Services;
10.5. Updating the App remotely;
10.6. Enhancing your App experience;
10.7. Developing or improving services;
10.8. Managing operational aspects (e.g., payments);
10.9. Enforcing this Policy and preventing misuse;
10.10. Complying with laws or assisting law enforcement;
10.11. Resolving disputes involving you.

11.4. In cases of bankruptcy, merger, or sale, data may be transferred to a new entity bound by this Policy.
11.5. Otherwise, identifiable data is shared only with your consent.
12. If you’re enrolled with multiple Businesses using Rekonect, we’ll combine your data to enhance services and offerings across those Businesses, though we won’t share one Business’s Registration Form or purchase details with another.
13. We may use anonymized or aggregated data (not identifying you personally) in any manner, including sharing it with the Business, Operating Partner, or third parties.
14. You consent to automated decision-making based on your data (e.g., transaction frequency), tailoring offerings to your profile.
15.1. Some App features are operated by third parties (e.g., e-commerce, payment providers), responsible for their own data practices.
15.2. Review their privacy policies, as we’re not liable for their actions.
15.3. These services share relevant data with us for Rekonect Solution purposes.
16. The App may store and process data globally (e.g., Europe, the US). If your jurisdiction requires consent for such transfers, you provide it by using the App.
17.1. Registration Form data processing relies on your consent via submission.
17.2. You must not submit data for others.
17.3. Data provided outside the Registration Form is processed with your implied consent or to fulfill services.
17.4. Other data processing is based on service fulfillment or our legitimate interests.
18. The Business may add terms for its program, but this Policy prevails in conflicts. We’re not responsible for those terms.

19.2. Exercise these rights via the App (if available) or email support@rekonect.works, including your name, contact details, and Business name.
19.3. For (a)-(c), within 14 days, we’ll anonymize your profile, ending your Registered Member status. Redeem benefits beforehand, as further accumulation stops.
19.4. For (d), we’ll email your data copy and address rectification/erasure requests.
19.5. Multiple registrations or Businesses require separate requests.
19.6. You may complain to a supervisory authority.
20.1. We anonymize data upon your request or 18 months after the Business ends its Rekonect engagement.
20.2. Post-anonymization, some data may remain archived.
20.3. Uninstalling the App doesn’t erase your data.
21. We use security measures to protect your data, though absolute security isn’t guaranteed.
22.1. Updates take effect 30 days after major changes or 7 days for minor ones, posted via the App. Legal compliance changes are immediate.
22.2. Continued use signifies acceptance. Uninstall the App if you disagree.
